Amy T. Bedard
Librarian

Amy Bedard was hired in the position of Librarian in 2006. Amy is a lifelong resident of the Plattsburgh area. She worked on her family dairy farm, Bedard Farms, in Beekmantown until coming to Miner Institute.

Amy holds an Associate degree in Humanities and Social Sciences from Clinton Community College, and a Bachelors in English from SUNY Plattsburgh. She completed her Masters in Library Science (M.S.L.S.) from Clarion University Clarion of Pennsylvania (Clarion, PA) in 2005. The particular program Amy was enrolled in focused on the diverse needs of rural and small libraries, which fits well within the Institute needs.

Amy is a member of the Association of Rural and Small Libraries.
